London: Google Nexus 7 is one of the top most players in the tablet market. Although it has been manufactured by Asus, it is branded as Google’s device since it has been manufactured for Google and it marks the entry of this search engine giant in to the tablet territory. Nexus 7 is the first tablet in this lineup and recently, Google has released Nexus 10 tablet also. And this ten inches version is manufactured by Samsung.

Few of the users using Google Nexus 7 have reported few problems. Battery problem is one of the most common problems seen on this tablet. Users purchasing this tablet are getting good battery life on the tablet at the first. They are claiming to get up to 9 hours of battery life. But after using the device for two months or so, they are not able to get even half the amount of that battery life. Many have reported the drastic change in battery life of the tablet after two to three months of usage. According to them, their tablets’ battery life is not more than four to five hours. They are getting red color exhaustion notification sooner, even though they don’t use the tablet extensively.

This battery problem of Google Nexus 7 is the most discussed problem on the discussion boards and online communities. Few other users suggest checking for any unknown background processes which might kill the battery life. This could be probable solution for this problem, although it is not official support.

Another common problem seen on Google Nexus 7 is that its backlight is bleeding horribly. That means, its display will not be even with regard to lighting. It could be screen assembly issue and such issues are commonly seen on low cost devices, but to the surprise of many this problem is seen on branded Google device also.

Few other users have complained about the dead microphone with Google Nexus 7 tablet. This could be hardware problem and Google is asking the users to return back such problematic devices. It is not known whether the company wants to give a new piece of Nexus 7 or give back the money.
