Barcelona: Alcatel announced its latest mobile phone running on Android operating system. This mobile is named as One Touch Idol X mobile. Alcatel is well known for releasing Android based smart phones since past few years, but now it took bold step by releasing high end smart phone by name One Touch Idol X mobile. It is having amazing specs but one of the major complaints against this mobile is that it is very much similar to HTC’s Butterfly mobile.
Alcatel One Touch Idol X Mobile is powered by 1.2 Ghz quad core processor. The brand name of chipset and SoC are not known still. It has got 16 GB of internal memory, but the user available memory is known not. Still, there is provision for the expansion of memory up to 32 GB using SD card slot. Battery provided on One Touch Idol X mobile will be of 2000 mAh capacity. On the back side of Alcatel One Touch Idol X mobile, there is a 13 megapixels resolution camera and this mobile runs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean version of operating system. This mobile comes with 5 inches screen size and hence can also be considered as phablet. It is provided with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and hence its display resolution is given as 441 ppi. Capacitive type of touch sensitivity can be utilized on this mobile phone and it is able to extend support to multi touch also. Battery provided on Alcatel One Touch Idol X mobile is 2000 mAh capacity and it can give good amount of battery life.
There are no details about availability, release date and pricing of this One Touch Idol X mobile. This mobile might be released in the international market very soon but its release in USA is doubtful because it is not having LTE support. This mobile is going to be made available in red, yellow and blue colors.
