Mumbai: Lava is releasing good range of smart phones and tablets these days. It has attracted the attention of whole mobile industry by releasing Xolo range of mobiles. Now it has come up with eTab Xtron tablet. This tablet has got good set of features which can make it stand apart from the flock. This device is provided with seven inches screen size and has compact but sturdy look. Large bezel is seen on the front side of the tablet. Front camera is located right in the middle of the front side of the tablet.
Back of Lava eTab XTron tablet has been provided with polycarbonate material with brushed aluminum finish. This is the frame which extends to the front side also. Micro SD card slot and 3.5 mm audio jack can be noticed on the top. On the bottom side of the tablet, there are no buttons and ports. TFT type of display on the seven inches screen real estate of this tablet is provided with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. The display of this tablet is a decent one when compared to the displays of most of the budget range tablets. Videos and images are good to look on this tablet while the text of smaller size is not looking that great.
Lava eTab XTron tablet has been provided with support to Android v4.1 Jelly Bean version of operating system which is one of the latest versions of Android operating systems. It is not having any kind of custom skin on this tablet. But this tablet comes with few third party applications inbuilt. Among the inbuilt apps, there are PingPong, Edukart, BigFlix, Saavn, etc. Those who have used this tablet have reported that they didn’t face lags while working on the tablet. Project Butter from Google might be the reason behind smooth performance of the tablet. Google Now is another interesting feature to be noted on this tablet.
