Ativ Q Convertible with Higher Pixel Resolution Launched at Samsung Event
London: Samsung announced Ativ tablets at London press event along with new Galaxy devices. One of the tablets that were launched was Ativ Q and it caught the attention of many. The unique feature of the device is it can be used in floating mode, tablet mode, laptop mode and also in tablet mode.
Ativ Q sports 13.3 inch display. The display resolution is 3200 x 1800 pixels. The convertible device runs on Windows 8-Android 4.2 operating system. The device weighs 1.29 kgs and is 13.9 mm thick. It is powered by Intel core-I5 Haswell processor. It also supports S-Pen which allows the user to write note and draw.
DJ Lee, president and head of sales and marketing office, Samsung electronics said that the convertible device is suitable for people of this generation whose life is very busy. They expect convenience and adaptability from the devices. The users of Ativ Q will be allowed to access both Windows 8 and Android operating system on a single device. They can access Android apps through Google Play and can also transfer files and also share them to android. The touch screen display of the handset comes with 3200 x 1800 display which is the highest for any device in the world. The pixel density is 275ppi.
