JEE Advanced 2013: Counselling Date, Steps and Procedure
New Delhi: Joint Admission Board announced the JEE Advanced 2013 counselling procedure. The students who are qualified in JEE Advanced 2013 results of which were announced yesterday must take a note of the important dates and procedure.
JEE Advanced 2013 Counselling Dates
- Registrations for architecture aptitude test is conducted on June 25 and June 26
- Registration, choice filling and course locking for 16 IITs in the country an ISM Dhanbad from June 24th to June 30
- Architecture aptitude test will be conducted on June 28
- Architecture aptitude test results will be announced on July 2
- Results of 1st round of counselling will be announced on June 7
- The candidates who are selected must go to Zonal IIT for taking provision admission on 10th or 11th of July
- Seat can be withdrawn on or before July 7
- Results for second round of counselling on July 9
- Last date for seat withdrawl is July 11
- Third round counselling results July 1`3
- Selected candidates must report at zonal IIT on 14th and 15th July, 2013
Steps of JEE Advanced 2013 Counselling

- Provisional admission – students need to physically present at the Zonal IIT and get their documents verified and also for paying the fees
Students, who are allotted the seats, need to carry the following documents for verification to the zonal IIT. They have to carry the course allotment letter printout which is taken from JCOP portal, original JEE advanced card, filled in application form and examination report, tenth class board certificate as date of birth proof, qualifying exam marks sheet, foreign national must carry copy of passport pages and Rs. 60,000 DD (Rs. 20,000 for SC/ST students).
Reservation policies of JEE Advanced 2013 Counselling: 27% reservations are available for non creamy layer (OBC) candidates, 15% reservations for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST students, 3% for personal with disable candidates. Apart from the above, 2 seats in every institute are reserved for children of defence/paramilitary persons who died in war or peace operations.
