Dream Neo, the cheapest commuter from Honda unveiled – 109CC with 74kmpl just for Rs. 46140 only
New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is one of the leading two wheeler manufacturers in the Indian market and it has become the most reliable motor bike maker after the bifurcation of the legendary Hero Honda Motorcycles.
Dream Yuga is the recent launch from the manufacturer and it was a huge success in the Indian market. But it is informed that Honda is facing a slight deficit in the sales of the 100 CC segment though Dream Yuga has been performing well. Thus Honda has decided to introduce another 100 CC model that come with a highly competitive price tag as Indian market is price concerned always. Honda has unveiled the Dream Neo 110 CC commuter earlier this year and now launched the brand new Dream Neo into the stores.
The brand new Dream Neo comes with a 109 CC 4 stroke air cooled engine that is capable of generating 8.25 bhp at the peak along with 8.63 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated to a 4 speed transmission all shift up gear box. Honda has claimed that Dream Neo has been developed using Honda Eco Technology (HET) and thus the commuter can assure a massive mileage of 74 kilometers per liter.
Mr. YS Guleria, the Vice President for the Sales and Marketing division of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has stated in connection with the launch of the brand new Dream Neo “DREAM NEO is Honda’s next big leap towards creating deep inroads into the Indian commuter segment. Our newly opened technical center comprising of R & D, Engineering, Purchase & Quality team, overcame the challenge of improving mileage ad meeting the competitive price point. Backed by our new product launches & network expansion, Honda aims to grow over 150% in 100 – 110 CC motorcycle segment year after year. Overall, we are confident of customer demand for Honda 2 wheelers and eye 43% growth with 39.3 lakh unit sales in Financial Year 14”.
Honda is offering the brand new Dream Neo Commuter with Kick starter/ Drum Brakes/ Spoke Wheels with tuff up tube for Rs. 46,140 only whereas the Neo with Kick starter/ drum brakes/ alloy wheels with tubeless tyres is offered for Rs. 47,189 and the Self Starter variant with drum brakes/ alloy wheels with tubeless tyres is offered for just Rs. 50.426 only.
