Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 Kitkat Coming on October 14: Rumor
It is rumored that Nexus 5 is going to be released on October 14. It will come with Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. Google Nexus 4 also arrived in October last year. it is now available for $200 and the latest device is also likely to be priced around the same.
Washington: It is rumored that LG Nexus 5 is going to be released on October 14. Though it is not known whether the source is credible or not, the rumor also suggested that Android 4.4 Kitkat is also coming in October. The rumor may turn out to be true as the recent rumors indicated that the device is ready for launch. It was also rumored in June that Google is planning to release the latest version of the operating system in October.
Google announced that Android 4.4 Kitkat is going to be the flagship operating system of the company but did not reveal much details about its features. It is expected that the operating system will come with new nexus 5 handset.
The expected date October 14 for the launching of Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system and the nexus 5 smartphone falls in the holiday shopping season. Nexus 4 which was launched in 2012 was also arrived in the end of October and was released in November. Another thing is Apple’s iPhone 5S and 5C will be released on September 20 in US. Thus Google may launch its new device as soon as possible to compete with Apple products. However no invite is sent for the launch.

LG Nexus 5 may be based on G G2. It may come with 5 inch screen and will be powered by Snapdragon 800 processor. it is also said that LG may price the device as Nexus 4.
