Sri Venkateswara University Distance Education UG, PG, B.Ed, and PG Diploma: SVU Open University
Sri Venkateswara University, Directorate of Distance Education released notification for admission into various UG and PG courses. SV University is also offering courses under Open University system. Entrance test for Open University system will be held on February 9, 2013.
Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara University released Admission notification for under graduate and PG graduate courses in distance mode. Courses offered under graduation are BBM, B.Com Computers, B.Com General, B.L.I.Sc, BA and B.Sc which includes MPC, MEC, MPE, MSCs, MPCs, BZC. Courses offered in Post Graduation are MBA for 3 years, Executive MBA for 2 years, MS public Relations, M.Com specialization in Financial Management, M.Com General, M.Sc which includes Mathematics and Computer science, Psychology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics; M.L.I.Sc, Master of Social work, MA which includes Sociology, Political science and Public Administration, History, Economics, Hindi, English, Telugu.
Along with degree and PG courses, notification for the admission is also released for Open University system, B.Ed and PG Diploma Courses. PG Diploma courses offering by the university is Journalism and Mass communication, Dress Designing and Garment Making, Hospital & Health care Management, Guidance & counselling, Industrial Relation & Personal Management. Through Open University System (OUS), Candidates can pursue B.Com and BA courses even without having formal qualification. They can do this course after qualifying in eligibility entrance test.
Candidates can have the Applications forms from Andhra Bank and State Bank located at SVU Campus, Tirupati. They can also have the applications by paying the amount through online challan at State Bank and Andhra Bank. State Bank Account Number is 31573987253. Andhra Bank Account Number is 103210100020302. On the back side of the challan candidates have to write course details, address and name of the applicant. Candidates can have the application through post. For that they need to send self addressed stamp cover whose worth is Rs.40 to the University. Then they will send the application form. Cost of the Application is Rs.350 for B.Ed Course. For all other courses cost of the application is Rs.200 exclusive of bank charges. Applications can download from University website.
