Skoda India launched Octavia 2013 – Cheapest variant priced Rs. 13.95 and costliest priced Rs. 19.45 lakhs only
Octavia is once again ready to make buzz in the market Skoda has finally unveiled the brand new Octavia 2013 in the Indian market today. The cheapest variant of Octavia 2013 is offered by the Czech automaker for just Rs. 13.95 lakhs only. Octavia is the most sold model of Skoda in the Indian market as well as in the global market too. Skoda is expecting a breakthrough with the new Octavia during this festival season.
Skoda is offering 7 trims of the model with 3 distinct engine options on a whole including both petrol and diesel versions. The petrol variants of the model are powered with a 1.4 liter and a 1.8 liter petrol engines respectively. The 1.4 liter engine is capable of generating around 138 bhp of power at the peak along with 250 N of torque whereas the 1.8 liter petrol engine is capable of generating around 178 bhp of power at the peak along with 250 Nm of torque. The diesel variants are going to be powered with a 2.0 liter diesel engine that is capable of generating around 143 PS of power at the peak along with 320 Nm of torque.
The 1.4 liter petrol engine is capable of delivering mileage of 16.81 kilometers per liter whereas the 1.8 liter petrol engine assures 14.72 kmpl mileage. The 2.0 liter diesel engine with automatic transmission gear box promises 19.28 kmpl mileage whereas the manual transmission version assures 20.61 kmpl mileage.
