Sony Playstation 4 launched in India for Rs 39,990: All that you need to know

You hear about movies having a great opening or TV Shows Premiering with high TRP, but with the release of the PS4 one came to know of what a great opening is for an electronic device. PS4 sold over 1 million units on the opening day itself setting a new record even before it was used by anyone. This is the device that has brought a new dimension in the sphere of gaming.

New Delhi: The PS4 comes as a successor to the long standing PlayStation range of Sony that has over the years been a very important part of each of our childhoods. Right from the PlayStation One Sony has aimed at bringing about a huge difference in the way gaming is perceived and this time also they have not disappointed anybody. Let us take a look at the specifications of the console.

The PlayStation 4 console is named the CUH-1000A series. The console runs on a state of the art Single-chip custom processor. The CPU is an 8 core low power x86-64 AMD “Jaguar”, which provides great performance to every user. The console possesses a 1.84 TFLOPS, AMD next-generation Radeon™ based graphics engine GPU again adding to the speed of the console. There has been much talk and the much more sales of the PS4 worldwide and the same seems to be the case with India. The PS4 has become one of the most awaited devices of all time and the console should see a brilliant opening in India also. However much will depend upon what price range the PS4 will fall in. Putting it at a very high price may end up lowering the popularity of the console but putting it at an affordable price might just work wonders for it.
