AILET 2014 Notification Released: Written Test will be held on 4th May 2014
National Law University (NLU) is going to conduct All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2014 on 4th May 2014. This examination conducts for the admission to BA, LLB (Hons), LLM, and Ph.D Degree Programmes. Apply offline before 7th April 2014.
Delhi: National Law University (NLU) is going to conduct All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2014 on 4th May 2014. Notification released regarding this examination. This examination conducts for the admission to BA, LLB (Hons), LLM, and Ph.D Degree Programmes. There are two ways to apply for the examination namely offline and online modes. It is the time to apply in only offline mode itself as last date for the online mode of applying for the examination is 2nd January 2014. In the offline mode candidates can submit the application forms till 7th April 2014.
Candidates have to download the application forms from the university website i.e. http://nludelhi.ac.in/applicationform.htm. Duly filled application forms have to be sent to the university along with Demand Draft for Rs.3000 in case of general category students and Rs.1000 for SC / ST candidates. Demand Draft has to be drawn in favour of The Registrar, National Law University, Delhi. Applications to be sent to The Registrar, National Law University Delhi, Sector 14, Dwarka, Delhi.
Before downloading the application forms, it is essential to known the eligibility criteria of the candidates. An eligibility criterion is different for different courses. For BA LLB course eligibility is completion of 10+2 examination with 50 % of marks. An age criterion is also clearly mentioned in the notification. As per the notification, below 21 years candidates have to apply for the examination. In case of SC/ ST candidate’s age criteria is 23 years.
In case of LLM course, completion of bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines with 55 % of marks from any recognised universities. Reservation is applicable to SC/ ST and Physically Handicapped candidates. In case of Ph.D course, Completion of Master’s degree from any recognised university with 55 % of marks.
