RRB Recruitment 2014 Examination Notification Released for 26,567 posts

Indian Railways set to recruit 26,567 Assistant Loco Pilots and Technician Categories posts across India. Pay scale for these posts is between Rs.5200 to Rs.20, 200 with a grade pay of Rs.1900. Written test for these posts will be held on 15^th June 2014.

Delhi: Indian Railways set to recruit Assistant Loco Pilots and Technician Categories such as Mechanic, Painter, Blacksmith, Fitter, Signal GR III, Carpenter, Moto driver, Wireless Maintainer, Telecommunication Maintainer, Signal GR II and Technicians in various regions across India.

As per the notification released Candidates should complete matriculation plus course completed Act Apprentice ship / ITI approved by SCVT/ NCVT in the trades of Fitters, Mechanic Motor Vehicles Electronic Mechanics, Mechanic Radio & TV, Mill Wright Maintenance Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic / Electrician /Fitter etc for ALP Post and for Technician post Completion of Matriculation plus course completed Act Apprentice ship / ITI approved SCVT/ NCVT in the trades of Computer Networking, Computer, instrumentation, TV & Radio, Information Technology, Electronics, Wireman, Electrical Fitter, Electrician etc.

Vacancies are available in Thiruvananthapuram, Siliguri, Secunderabad, Ranchi, Patna, Mumbai, Malda, Kolkata, Jammu & Srinagar, Guwahati, Gorakpur, Chennai, Chandigarh, Bilaspur, Muzaffarpur, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Bangalore, Allahabad, Ajmer, Ahmedabad. Age limit to apply for these posts is between 18 to 30 years. As per the rules age relaxation will be applicable. Candidates will be selected based on the performance shown in the written examination.

Interested and Eligible candidates need to send the application forms along with Demand Draft, one recent passport size photograph, self attested Xerox copy of caste certificates etc to Railway Recruitment Boards concerned as mentioned in the notification. Applications have to be reached to the concerned boards on or before 17^th February 2014. Applications of candidates who were residing in flug areas such as Tripura, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam have to reach on or before 4^th March 2014.
