Lenovo New Mid Range Android Smartphones: Lenovo S930, S650 and A859

Lenovo came up with three new smartphones that come powered by MediaTek quad core processor. Lenovo new handsets come loaded with Android operating system. Except for the display sizes and the battery, all the three tablets share similar specifications.

Beijing: Lenovo launched three new smartphones that will be launched globally. The three new handsets are named S930, S650 and A859. These are available in the market immediately, according to the company. These will be available in countries where Lenovo is already selling its products.

Lenovo A859 comes with a display of 5 inches and the display resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by 1.3 GHz MT6582 MediaTek quad core processor which is of low cost. It is combined with 1 GB RAM. Internal storage is 8 GB and memory can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. It comes equipped with 8 megapixel primary camera and 1.6 megapixel front facing camera. The battery under the hood is 2250 mAh battery and the handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system. It is priced $219.

Lenovo A650 is a mid range smartphone that is launched today by the company with a price tag of $229. It comes with 4.7 inch display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution and is powered by the same processor that is seen in Lenovo A859. Internal storage is 8 GB which is expandable. The handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system. The cameras are also same as the above smartphone. Except for the display size and battery all the specifications are similar. The battery under the hood is 2000 mAh battery.

Along with the above two devices, Lenovo also launched S930 with the same processor. The display size however is different as this comes with 6 inch display. This handset which is priced $319 comes with a pixel density of 244 ppi. Other specifications such as RAM, internal storage, expandable memory, camera are same as the above two handsets. Lenovo S930 comes with dual SIM capabilities. This phablet weighs 170 grams and supports WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth. It comes packed with 3000 mAh battery.

There are many handsets that come with cheap processor in Indian market and the success of these new smartphones is dependent on the brand name only.
