Samsung Galaxy S5 To Include IRIS Technology

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the next much awaited smartphone in the Samsung Galaxy series smartphones. Already there are much of speculations happening on what specifications the device could have. But recently the mobile executive vice president of Samsung himself cleared all the speculations by giving out a sketch on the device.

New Delhi: The mobile executive VP of Samsung, Lee Younghee in an interview had said that like all the models of Samsung releasing around the months of March and April, the next model Galaxy S5 would also be slated for release in that time. He also said that after the release, the next step for Galaxy Gear would also be released with the design improved and more functions.

The next most expected feature in the Samsung Galaxy S5 has also been acknowledged by the mobile executive VP. Young-hee said that the company is considering to include the iris scanning technology in Samsung Galaxy S5. Not to say that this feature is Samsung’s take on the fingerprint scanning authentication feature of Apple in their iPhone 5s.

Young-hee also accepted the public opinion about look and feel of the Galaxy S4 device. He said that it’s true that the customers couldn’t find much of difference between the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 physically and that’s the reason why the market response was not big for it.

As far as the specifications for the Galaxy S5 are considered, he said that they are going back to the basics in the terms of the display and the cover. And for the next step in Samsung Galaxy Note phablet, he stated that a three sided display is being considered enabling the users to make use of a sharp angle for reading and that the phablet would be released by the second half of the year.
