AP PGECET 2014 is conducting from 26th May 2014. Notification released. Online registration will start from 5th March 2014.

Hyderabad: Notification released for Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) 2014. This examination would be held on 26th March 2014 to 29th March 2014. It is the entrance examination for the admission to the PG programmes in Architecture, Technology & Engineering in Andhra Pradesh. This exanimation is state level examination.

As per the notification released, eligibility criteria for this examination is completion of B. E/ B. Tech / AIME courses from any university in the respective disciplines with minimum 50 % of marks for General Category candidates and 45 % marks for reserved category candidates. Most important thing to be remembered by the candidates is candidates must an Indian and must belong to Andhra Pradesh. Aspirants who had appeared for GATE examination and qualified can have direct admission.

Exam will be held at different centres namely Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Ananthapur, Tirupathi, Warangal, and Hyderabad. Time duration of this examination is 2 hours. Candidates need to answer objective type 120 questions. For each correct answer candidate will gain one mark. Cut-off percentage is 25. Candidates who want to apply for this examination need to apply through online registration. Application fee for this examination is Rs.500 for General Category candidates and for SC / ST candidates’ application fee is Rs.250. Application fee need to pay through Credit Card / Debit card or through AP online centres. After successful completion of the registration candidates will receive an SMS on their mobile numbers.

Candidates who were shortlisted in this examination have to undergone the counselling process. At that time original documents will be verified. Today notification was released for this examination. Online registration will start from 5th March 2014. Last dates for the submission of the application forms without late fee is 16th April 2014. With late of Rs.500 applications will be accepted till 28th April 2014. With the late fee of Rs.2000, applications will be accepted till 5th May 2014. Hall tickets will be available between 12th May 2014 to 24th May 2014. Entrance exam will be held on 26th May 2014 to 29th May 2014.
