Lexus to show case RC 350 F Sport and RC F GT3 Sports coupe at the Geneva Motor Show 2014
Lexus is likely to launch the brand new RC F GT3 sports coupe at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2014 that is going to be held next week. The model is going to be displayed at the show along with the RC 350 F Sport coupe. RC F GT3 racing coupe has been displayed for the first time at Tokyo Auto Salon held recently. RC 350 F Sport coupe is likely to be positioned between RC 350 and the RC F coupes and it is going to be a production variant too.
RC 350 F Sport coupe is likely to be powered with a 3.5 litre V6 engine that is capable of generating around 306 hp at the peak along with 277 lb – ft of torque. Engine comes accompanied with an 8 speed automatic transmission gear box as standard and there is no other choice available for the model. Lexus has equipped the model with Adaptive Variable Suspension for the first time and the technology adjusts the damp motion of the vehicle depending on the driving mode at that particular instance. The advanced Dynamic Handling System developed by Lexus facilitates enhanced handling with the RC 350 F Sport. The model also gets variable gear ratio steering and four wheel steering technology makes the drive more comfortable.
The upcoming RC F GT3 sports coupe measures around 4705 mm in length, 2000 mm in width and 1270 mm in height. The wheel base of the model is around 2730 mm and the curb weight of the model is around 1250 kilograms. As per the information, the upcoming sports coupe gets powered with a V8 gasoline engine that will be generating more than 540 hp at the peak. The engine has been adopted from the former edition of RC F coupe where it has managed to generate around 480 hp at the peak. We cannot expect the upcoming RC 350F Sport coupe to be available for sale before 2015 and there is least probability for the upcoming RC F GT3 sports coupe to reach for production.
