Panasonic P31 teased its new smartphone on its Facebook page. P31 is likely to be launched in March 2014. It will feature gesture control and will come with several pre-loaded apps. The handset will come with 5 inch display and will runs on Android operating system.

Mumbai: A new smartphone is teased by Panasonic in India. The teaser is spotted on Facebook page of Panasonic and the new smartphone is dubbed as P31. It was spotted with coming soon status. The handset is expected to be launched in March, 2014. However, the teaser did not contain any details of the pricing.

AndroidOS reported that the specifications of Panasonic P31 were also revealed. The smartphone is expected to run on un specified version of Android operating system.

Panasonic P31 will sport 5 inch display and the resolution is 854 x 480 pixels. it is powered by 1.3 GHz processor. there are no details of RAM and GPU of the handset. it is expected to come with 8 inch primary camera and also front facing camera. the handset may supports WiFi and 3G connectivity support with which most mid range smartphones are offered now. It is likely to be a dual SIM smartphone.

The teaser image of Panasonic India highlights that P31 will feature gesture play. They also indicated that they will feature Evernote, India Today, Hungama music app, Readwhere-magazine app and Sony television app. It will feature Opera Min browser.

Presently Panasonic is selling five entry level smartphones in India. T31 is the recent launch from the company which was released in October, 2013.
