SSC Junior Engineer Examination 2014: Exam Pattern
Staff Selection Commission is conducting SSC Junior Engineer Examination 2014 on 25th May 2014. This Examination is conducting in two stages First one is written Test and Second stage is Interview.
Delhi: Staff Selection Commission is conducting SSC Junior Engineer Examination 2014 on 25th May 2014. For this examination candidates need to apply only through online. Before start preparing for the examination knowing the exam pattern is most important so that candidates can plan accordingly and prepare well for the examination. We were providing the exam patter of SSC Junior Engineer Examination 2014. This examination is conducting in two stages First one is written Test and Second stage is Interview. Marks allotted for the written test is 500. Marks allotted for Interview is 100.
Written Test consists of two papers namely Paper I and Paper II.
Paper I is Objective type. Paper I is divided into General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Marks), General Awareness (50 Marks) and Part A General Engineering (Civil& Structural ) (100 Marks) or Part B General Engineering (Electrical) or Part C General Engineering (Mechanical). Time Duration of Paper I is 2 hours and it will conduct between 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM on 25th May 2014.
Paper II is Conventional Type. In this paper Part A is General Engineering (Civil& Structural) or Part B General Engineering (Electrical) or Part C General Engineering (Mechanical). Duration of Paper I is 2 hours and it will conduct between 02.00 PM to 4.00 PM on 25th May 2014. Marks allotted for this paper is 300.
Candidates who are appearing examination for the post of Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying & Contract) and Junior Engineer (Civil), candidates need to write Part A is General Engineering (Civil& Structural) of Paper I and Paper II. Candidates who are appearing examination for the post of junior Engineer (Electrical) candidates need to write Part B General Engineering (Electrical) of Paper I and Paper II. Candidates who are appearing examination for the post of junior Engineer (Mechanical) candidates need to write Part C General Engineering (Mechanical) of Paper I and Paper II.
Negative marking is applicable for Paper I. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Candidates who attained minimum marks in the written test will be qualified for the interview. This is for 100 Marks.
