T20 World Cup Today: India Vs Bangladesh Match Preview

Team India is going to meet Bangladesh in Super-10 matches in T20 world cup today. If Team India wins the match, they will almost reach the semi finals. They will play the last super-10 match with Australia. India is presently on top of Group B after defeating Pakistan and West Indies.

Mirpur: Team India is going to meet Bangladesh team in today’s match at Mirpur in T20 Word Cup. It is not easy for Bangladesh to face Team India who is strong in batting, bowling and fielding.

Bangladesh lost to defending champion West Indies by 73 runs and this damaged the confidence of the team. Bangladesh won in qualifying matches and came to super-10 level. There are no high expectations on the team but at the same time, Bangladesh cannot be taken easily.

India is on top of Group-B by defeating Pakistan and West Indies and if it wins the match opposite Bangladesh, the semis birth is guaranteed. India will play with Australia in its last super-10 match. Winning over Bangladesh will give new confidence to Team India to face Australia.

Yuvraj Singh’s form is worrying Team India. Yuvi played 19 balls in West Indies match and was uncomfortable. There is no doubt that he will be included in the team but will he come back to his form or not is the worrying factor. Yuvraj practiced in the nets after the Windies match and he has the support of Captain Dhoni. Opener Rohit Sharma played well in the last two matches but Shikhar Dhawan is still facing the problem.

Coming to Bangladesh team, Tameem, Shakib and Raheem should play more responsibly. It is questionable whether the batsmen will be able to face Indian bowlers. Team India has a strong batting lineup and good bowlers who could restrict the batmen of Pakistan and Windies teams for runs below 130.

Mirpur pitch is favorable for spin bowlers. India played two matches on this pitch already. The team that wins the toss will select to bowl first. Team India will play with the same team that won the earlier two matches.

Today is holiday in Bangladesh and tickets for India and Bangladesh match are sold for Rs. 8500. There was great demand for tickets and the stadium capacity is 25,000. The match will be live telecasted in Star Sports till 7.00 pm.
