Lava expanded the Iris series of smartphones by adding a new handset Iris 504Q+. 504Q+ comes for a price of Rs. 13,999 in India. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean operating system and it is powered by quad core processor.

Pune: Lava launched another new handset dubbed as 504Q+ for the Indian markets. This is the successor of 504Q smartphone that hit the stores in June 2013. Major differences between the two handsets are the internal storage which is increase and better camera.

Lava Iris 504Q+ sports 5 inch display and the resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean operating system and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor. The handset comes with dual SIM support. The processor is supported by 1 GB RAM and is provided with 8 GB and comes with micro SD card to expand the memory up to 32 GB. It comes with 10 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera. The primary camera comes with Sony Exmor RS sensor which is the highlight of the handset. It also comes with advanced voice and command controls.

Mr Hari Om Rai, MD of Lava International Ltd said that they improved the camera quality, internal memory and enhanced the gesture motion functionality. They also brought mobile messaging services BBM on to their smartphone. The handset will be available in grey and silver color options.
