LG G3 is finally official. The much awaited flagship smartphone of LG was unveiled yesterday in New York, San Francisco and London simultaneously. There is however no official announcement of the pricing of the handset. The handset is likely to be launched in Singapore, Seoul and Istanbul in the coming days. It will first be launched in South Korea followed by other countries

New York: There is nothing surprising about LG G3 as the leaks and teases have given almost every detail about the handset. The handset comes with 5.5 inch display and the resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels. Pixel density is 538 ppi. Other highlight of the handset is its operating system. It comes with the latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system and supports only single SIM.

LG G3 is made with lightweight metal and it will be offered in silk white, shine gold, burgundy red, metallic black and moon violet colors. The handset weighs 149 grams. It houses a powerful 2.46 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. the handset will be offered with 16 GB internal storage backed by 2 GB RAM and another variant comes with 32 GB internal storage combined with 3 GB RAM. Memory can also be expanded up to 132 GB via micro SD card support.

It comes equipped with 13 megapixel primary camera with auto focusing sensor. Dual LED flash features. The front facing 2.1 megapixel camera can be used to the selfies and also for video chatting. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE 4 G connectivity. Battery under the hood is 3000 mAh removable battery and wireless charging is supported. It will be compatible with G watch and other Android wear smartwatches, as announced by LG at the event.
