Uttarakhand Board released 12^th class Results. Candidates who had attained 80% marks will get Laptops.

Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand Board had announced 10^th class and 12^th class examination results. Board had released both the examination results at the official website of Uttarakhand Board i.e. at www.ubse.uk.gov.in.

Uttarakhand Board of School Education had announced the results of both the examinations. With the intension to increase the educational 0%interest, Harish Rawat Chief Minister of Uttarakhand had stated that if any candidate attains 70 % or more marks in higher, technological and medical education in Uttarakhand then those candidates will be given laptops.

Candidates who had achieved 80 % marks in 12^th class examination will also be received laptops as per the statement of Chief Minister of the state. With the intension to improve the education among girls, cabinet had decided to hike the amount given under Kanya Dhan Scheme. Till now girls were giving Rs.25000 towards their studies. Now as per the decision taken by the cabinet, under the Kanya Dhan Scheme amount will be increased to Rs.50000. This came into effect from 1^st April 2014.

Cabinet also decided to fill 2394 vacancies for teachers in primary schools. These vacancies will be filled by the end of this month. Now it is the time to check the results. Candidates who had written 10^th and 12^th classes can check the results at the official website of Uttarakhand Board of School Education.

In this examination Girls performance is better than the boy’s performance. In Intermediate examination, pass percentage of girls is 84.36 which are higher than the boys whose pass percentage is 75.61. This pass percentage is achieved in the year 2013.

Now it is the time to conduct technical entrance examination for the admission of technical courses. This examination is known as Uttarakhand State Engineering Entrance Examination (UKSEE). This examination also conducted successfully. Results of this examination will also be declared on 10^th June 2014.
