What Modi Means ‘Campaign Clashes Wont Stop Post Poll Alliances’

MODI'S AGENDA FOR DEVELOPMENT

What Modi Means ‘Campaign Clashes Wont Stop Post Poll Alliances’

Narendra Modi, all along his campaign in the present elections spoke only one point agenda i.e, development. He also talked about the post poll alliances with some regional players.

New Delhi: With the strong Modi-wave throughout the country, the BJP and NDA are expected to come to power with comfortable lead.

The campaign by Modi and all others leaders has been very hot for the last 45 days. There have been many personal attacks, physical man-handlings, many hate speeches etc.

Just before conclusion of present elections, Modi’s statement that ‘Campaign Clashes Wont Stop Post Poll Alliances’ is being interpreted by different political parties in different ways. Modi was talking in particular about the three women political leaders ie.., Jayalalithaa from Tamilnadu, Mamata from west Bengal & Mayawati from UP.

These 3 regional players are expected to put commendable performance in the present elections and they are expected to out-perform their opponents in their states and also clinch major share of votes and seats.

Many top BJP leaders (including Venkaiah Naidu) made it amply clear that even if the BJP is able to get the required majority for formation of the government at centre, it would still follow the alliance principle and involve all partners of the alliance in the government formation.

Modi has also been mentioning that there is possibility of post poll alliance with other regional players (who have not yet finalized their alliance affiliations either with NDA or UPA). The participants in this list include Mamata, Jayalalithaa, Mayawati besides Naveen Patnaik of Orissa (BJD).

Mamata has been fierce against Modi and hence with NDA as a whole. Her anger with Modi is clearly visible in her various statements against Modi. Mayawati interpreted Modi’s statement as an effort to draw the caste based vote banks away from SP. Jayalalitha, as on date, is yet to revert back on Modi’s comments.

The regional players are famous to change their alliance affiliations depending on the existing political conditions in the country and state. The regional players have participated in both NDA & UPA (probably only TDP is an exception as the party has never associated with UPA). Some of the partners are extending outside support without joining the alliance.

Modi, as BJP PM Candidate, has been clear in his statements. On one side he is clear about theissues like development, corruption etc. On the other side he is also inviting regional players to support NDA in its effort to ensure all-round development of the country.
