IGNOU: Last date to apply for the admission of the courses extended: Apply till 8^th July 2014

Last date to apply for the admission of the courses extended till 8^th July 2014 without late fee. Candidates can apply till 31^st July 2014 with late fee.

Delhi: IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) is a distance learning university. Central Government runs this university. This is the world’s largest distance learning educational university. University is offering 82 certificate courses, 62 PG Diploma courses, 36 Diploma courses, 42 Bachelors degree courses, 73 Masters degree courses and 48 Doctoral Degree courses.

As per the earlier schedule released by the university, applications for all the courses has to be accepted till 20^th June 2014. Now last date to apply for the educational courses is extended till 8^th July without late fee and with the late fee candidates can apply till 31^st July 2014.

All the candidates who were applying for the distance educational courses, applications were available online in the official website of IGNOU.

Application fee: Application fee can be paid online or in the offline modes.

In the online mode candidates need to pay the fee by using the Credit card / Debit card. This process can be done while filing the form.

In the offline mode candidates need to drawn the Demand Draft. It should be drawn before filling the application form.

Application procedure: Applications were available online. After paying the application fee, candidates need to fill the application form. Duly filled application form is to be submitted online. After the submission of the application form confirmation number will appear at the screen. Filled application form along with the relevant certificates and Passport size photographs are to send to IGNOU Regional centres.

Closing date for the application forms is 8^th July 2014 without late fee

Closing date for the application forms is 31^st July 2014 with late fee of Rs.300.

Eligibility:

For the Bachelors degree: To apply for the bachelors degree basic educational qualification is completion of 10+2 in any stream except for the B.Sc Science Stream. For the B.Sc science stream course eligibility is completion of 10+2 with science stream.

Duration of the degree courses is 3 years and maximum is 6 years.

For the Masters degree: Minimum duration of this course is 2 years and maximum duration of 5 years.

Completion of the graduation is the basic eligibility criteria to apply for these courses. To do MA degree eligibility is completion of graduation in any stream. To do Master of Science degree eligibility is completion of graduation in the relevant stream.
