Bellamkonda Srinivas’s Alludu Srinu Review
Bellamkonda Suresh is one of the popular and successful producers of Telugu film industry. The latest film Alludu Srinu is produced by him to introduce his son Srinivas. This is a love story in the backdrop of revenge and comedy. It is directed by VV Vinayak.
Vijayawada: Srinivas is a happy go lucky man and he along with Narsimhulu reaches Hyderabad to escape from repaying the money he owes. He falls in love with the daughter of the mafia don in the first sight. Anjali rejects his love. There is another angle to the story and that is of Narsimha, the mafia don’s brother. The don tries to kill Srinivas and how the hero succeeds in winning his lady love is the rest of the story.
Bellamkonda Srinivas played the title role in Alludu Srinu. His fights and dances are excellent. Audience will never get the feeling that he is a new hero. However he needs to improve his talent skills in crucial scenes. His dialogue delivery also needs improvement to get success as a star.
Samantha played the role of Anjali and she looked glamorous. This is another routine character for Samantha and she played her part well. Tamannah appeared in a special song. Prakash Raj appeared in a dual role and there is nothing new for him to offer in these roles as we have seen him in such roles many times. Brahmanandam played the character of Dimple and was good in some climax scenes. There is not much scope for Pradeep Rawat, Raghu Babu, Tanikella Bharani and other characters.
Devi Sri Prasad’s songs in the movie Alludu Srinu reached the audience and Chota K Naidu shot the songs in beautiful locations. His camera work needs to be mentioned specially.
Though VV Vinayak designed all the things needed for launching of a new hero, there is nothing new in the story which is a big minus point for the film. The scenes in second half are routine. Over all, the movies plus points are performance of Srinivas, photography of Chota K Naidu and Devi Sri’s music. The story, treatment and the comedy are the minus points of it. The success of the film now depends on how audience will receive the hero.
