19.07.2014: Gold Award in Premier Trading House Category in the first Eastern Region Export Excellence Award 2012-13 by the Federation of Indian Exports organisations achieved by Nalco. Exports of this company reached to Rs.3380.93 crores. Silver Medal Achieved by Tata Steel. Exports of this company reached to Rs.1997.90 crores. Rohit Ferro Tech Limited and Balasore Alloys achieved gold awards in the Star Trading House Category.
13% raise in the net profit of Reliance Industries Limited
19.07.2014: 13.7 % increase in the net profit of the Reliance Industries. Consolidated net profit is Rs.5957 crores for the quarter April June 2014 as against Rs.5237 crores during the quarter April June 2013.

19.07.2014: Government set up Expert Committee for amid concerns raised by Cost Accountants. Committee will be headed by R S Sharma Chairman and Managing Director of ONGC. Other members of the committee are Aruna Sethi Adviser Cost Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Chandra Wadhwa former ICWAI President and RK Jain Ministry of Health and Family welfare.

19.07.2014: Eastern Railways achieved 22% growth and reached to Rs.687 crores in the month of June during this year. In the month of June 2013, earning of eastern railways is Rs.565 crores. Passenger earnings for the month of June is Rs.183 crores as against 155 crores in the month of June in 2013.
