Online Registrations for BMAT 2014 Opens from September 1: BMAT for Studying Medicine, Veterinary and Biomedical Courses in England and Singapore
Registrations for BMAT 2014 will begin on September 1. Aspirants who want to join medicine, veterinary medicine and biomedical courses abroad have to qualify in this test. This is conducted by Admission Testing Service.
Vijayawada: The score secured in BMAT 2014 is considered by various prestigious universities and colleges in medical courses in England and Singapore. BMAT is similar to GMAT which is conducted for admission into prestigious management institutes in the world. Admissions Testing Center is a part of Cambridge English Language Assessment and it conducts BMAT for admission into biomedical, veterinary science and medical coursers. This is only valid for admission into England and Singapore
Universities that consider BMAT score for admissions are
- University of Cambridge for admission into medicine, graduate course in medicine and veterinary medicine. Imperial college, London admissions into medicine, three year biomedical course and four year biomedical science with management are also based on BMAT score.
- University of Oxford for admission into medicine, graduate medicine and biomedical sciences
- The Royal Veterinary College for admission into Veterinary medicine, combined degree program, graduate accelerated veterinary medicine programme. Non-EU country students do not need BMAT score to get admissions.
- University college, London for admission into medicine
- Lee Kong Chain School of Medicine, Singapore. Medicine course
- Medicine graduate entry in Brighton and Sussex medical school
BMAT 2014 is conducted by Admission Testing Service and it is a two year duration course. This is a pen and paper method exam and is divided into three sections. These are Aptitude and skills, scientific knowledge and applications and writing tasks. Previous question papers are available at the official website. Applications for BMAT 2014 have to be submitted online. Exam centers are at Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai in India. Centers will start making entries from September 1 and the last date for modified question paper requests is September 30. Entry closing date is October 1 and the once the registration is done, they cannot be withdrawn. November 5 is the date on which BMAT takes place. The scheduled times vary from center to center depending on where they are in the world.
