IIM JRD Tata Award for Excellence in Corporate Leadership achieved by SAIL Chairman CS Verma
14.11.2014: IIM JRD Tata Award for Excellence in Corporate Leadership in Metallurgical Industries for the year 2014 achieved by SAIL Chairman CS Verma. As a part of this award he achieved Rs.5 lakhs by Union Minister of Mines & Steel Narendra Singh Tomar. He is the first Chairman of SAIL to receive this award.

First phase of Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG to start from 15th November 2014
14.11.2014: First phase of Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG to start from 15th November 2014 and it will cover 2 crore 33 lakh households. This will start in 54 districts in the first phase and remaining districts of the country will start from 1st January 2014.
