Honda launched City based ‘Grace’ sedan in Japan – SPORT HYBRID, ESS and many more for just Rs. 10.5 lakhs
The Japanese automotive giant Honda has launched the brand new ‘Grace’ hybrid sedan in the Japanese market. The new breed is developed basing on the exclusive City sedan and most of the new sedan looks similar to the former. The manufacturer is looking forward to bag a big success early next year with the new Grace sedan and the increasing demand for the hybrid sedans will help Honda in achieving the same for sure.
Honda has used latest hybrid technology for developing the new Grace sedan and it is going to be one of the most technically rich models in the Japanese market currently. Grace comes with the Japanese giant’s SPORT HYBRID I – DCD one motor hybrid system which allows the vehicle to get ignited in fully electric mode without combustion of fuel. The driver can change to the fuel combustion mode whenever more power is needed or the charge is minimal. The exterior design of the model has also been changed remarkably but the base structure of the model remains unaltered. All new alloy wheels add to the elegance of the vehicle and the diamond cut finishing also pretty impressive.
The all new Grace Hybrid sedan comes powered with a 1.5 litre four cylinder petrol engine that is capable of generating around 110 PS power at the peak along with 134 Nm of torque. The respective engine comes accompanied with an electric motor that churns out around 30 PS power at the peak along with 160 Nm of torque. Honda is currently offering the Grace sedan with front wheel drive power train but we can expect an all-wheel drive variant of the same to get introduced very soon. The front wheel drive variant of Grace sedan delivers around 34.4 kmpl mileage on an average whereas the all-wheel drive variant is expected to deliver around 29.4 kmpl only.
Honda is offering the new Grace Hybrid sedan in the Japanese market for around 1950000 Yen only which is around Rs. 10.16 lakhs in Indian currency.
