17.01.2015: National Bravery Awards for the year 2014 announced. For these awards 24 children were selected out of which 16 were boys and 8 were girls. Bharat Award conferred to Resham Fatma of Uttar Pradesh who is a victim of Acid Attack. Geeta Chopra Award won by Gunjan Sharma of Assam. Sanjay Chopra Award won by Master Devesh Kumar of Uttar Pradesh. Bapu Gaidhani Awards were presented to Late Monika, Late Riya Chaudhary and Master Rumohmeto.
18% Increase in the Net Profit of Axis Bank
17.01.2015: 18% Increase in the Net Profit of Axis Bank by the end of 31st December 2014. Now it has reached to Rs.1900 crores. Operating Expenses increased by 15% i.e Rs.2314 crores.
