Cricket World Cup 2015: Team India Vs Pakistan Match Tomorrow at Adelaide

Though World Cup 2015 matches started today, the real tourney starts for the cricket fans in Indian sub-continent with the match between India and Pakistan in Adelaide. Team India has a better record in world cup matches than Pakistan. Both the teams played five matches and India won all the matches.

Adelaide: Tomorrow’s match is crucial for both India and Pakistan. India has to keep the record of winning all the matches over Pakistan in world cup tourney and there is no doubt that Pakistan team will try to defeat India at least the sixth time. Both the teams seem to be not got used to the pitches of Australia and New Zealand. Team India must forget the one day series defeat. Pakistan also lost two match series with New Zealand. Both the teams are looking weak in bowling also.

Adelaide Oval is going to host the match between India and Pakistan. It is difficult to chase a big target on Adelaide Oval’s bouncy wicket. The team that wins the toss and sets a good target for the opposite team has more chances of winning the match. Target changing under pressure is not easy on this wicket and thus winning the toss is very crucial.

Team India’ main strength is the batting line up. India’s batting lineup is looking strong with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suresh Rain, Sikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane. Mr Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni is an additional strength to the team. India’s batting is looking great on paper but in reality there are many problems. Sikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli are failing continuously which is a major worry for the team. If Dhawan and Kohli manage to regain their forms, India’s chances of winning the cup improve a lot.

Main weakness of India is the bowling. Senior pacer Ishant Sharma is not available for the tourney as he failed in the fitness test. Indian bowlers failed to claims wickets of Afghanistan batsmen in the warm up match and this explains the bowling problem in the team. Team India always performed well in the captaincy of Dhoni in mega events like World cup. Team India has many talented players and if they manage to perform well in the coming six weeks, the team can easily win the world cup for the third time.
