Mumbai: West Indies captain Clive Lloyd played an important role in his teamwinning the first World Cup in 1975. In the semifinal match, his bowling figures were 12-1-37-1 which was very impressive and he also hit a hundred in the final match. In 1979 World Cup, Vivian Richards delivered all round performance in semi final match. Windies lost 4 crucial wickets for only 99 runs.
