Intex expanded the Aqua series by adding a new handset dubbed as Aqua Desire. Aqua Desire is listed on the official website with a price tag of Rs. 5,560. Official announcement about availability of the handset is expected soon.

Mumbai: Intex Aqua Desire comes with 4.7 inch display and the resolution is 854 x 480 pixels. The handset is powered by dual core MediaTek MT6572 processor whose clock speed is 1.2 GHz. The processor is paired with 512 MB RAM and the inbuilt storage provided is 4 GB. Memory can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD. It runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system. It features 8 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity. Other features are 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio and micro USB charging. Battery under the hood is 1700 and it is said to deliver up to 6 hours talk time and 240 hours standby time. The handset is offered in blue, white and grey color options. It comes with many preinstalled apps such as Intex Market, Intex Play, Intex Zone, Opera Mini, Ask Me and Clean Master.
