Tata Motors revealed ‘Bolt Sport’ at Geneva – 1.2L Revotron engine, Disk Brakes and Sun Roof on offer
Tata Motors has revealed an exclusive edition of the Bolt hatchback at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2015. This year’s edition of the Motor Show has already hosted some unique concepts from leading automotive giants and the native Indian giant has also shared some excitement to the visitors by unveiling the brand new Hexa Sports Utility vehicle concept along with the Bolt Sport hatchback.
The new edition of Bolt hatchback comes with a large number of cosmetic and technical tweaks when compared with the standard edition of the same. Front fascia of the Bolt Sport comes with a new set of headlights and a set of fog lights at the bottom. The ‘Bolt Sport’ badge positioned at the centre of air vent at the bottom. The honeycomb grille increases the cosmetic significance of the model when compared with other models of the segment. 17 inch alloys are also on offer along with larger wheels having 205 mm section. Rear fascia gets a brand new rear bumper along with dual exhaust pipes. Both the sides of the hatchback get side skirts along with fender vents. Bolt Sport comes with premium interiors with best in class features.
The manufacturer has covered the interior of Bolt Sport with black coloured leather materials and the upholstery too covered with the same. Higher end variants of the new breed come with Harman infotainment system with integrated touch screen display. Tata Motors has powered the brand new Bolt Sport Hatchback with a 1.2 litre four cylinder Revotron petrol engine with turbocharger which is capable of producing around 120 PS power at the peak along with 170 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated to a five speed manual transmission gear box by default. The manufacturer has also equipped Bolt Sport with disk brakes for rear wheels and a sun roof has also been added which is considered to be one of the most significant features of the hatchback. Tata has not yet revealed anything about the production of the vehicle so far.
