Renowned Guitarist BB King is No More
15.05.2015: B.B. King the renowned guitarist die in Las Vegas, revealed his lawyer Brent Bryson. The Blues legend is 89 at the time of his death. He won 15th Grammy in 2009. His hits include Sweet Little Angel, My Lucille and Rock Me Baby. He was the third greatest guitarist at a time.
Gagan Narang Wins Bronze in 50 m Rifle Event at ISSF World Cup
15.05.2015: Gagan Narang of India won bronze medal in 50 m Rifle prone event in ISSF world cup held in USA. He was the last shooter to quality for final stage. Others who made qualified for Rio Olympic are Jitu Rai and Apruvi Chandela. Chandela secure place by winning bronze in 10 m rifle in Korea in April and Jitu Rai won 50m free pistol event in Spain last year.
e-Visa Facility Extended to Chinese Nationals
15.05.2015: Prime minister Narendra Modi announced the extension of e-visa to Chinese tourists. India and China also signed 24 deals worth $10 billion. The areas in which MoUs were signed include railways, skill development and so on. E-Visa facility allows visitors to apply for Indian visa online and the fee can also be paid online. An email will be sent to the applicant when e-visa gets approved. The applicant then can take out the print-out of this authorized email and can travel to India.
