Volkswagen launched 2015 Vento Sedan – Engine unaltered, promises relatively 7.5% more fuel efficiency
Volkswagen India has launched brand new edition of the Vento sedan in the Indian market with a bang. The new edition of the model comes with a wide number of cosmetic changes along with a bunch of technical upgrades as well. The same engine options are on offer with the new edition of sedan and we can expect a slight increase in the price of the new Vento sedan in the Indian market.
As per the information, the new edition of the Vento sedan is likely to offer around 7.5 % better mileage figures when compared with the previous edition of the sedan. The front fascia of the model is going to get fitted with a three slated front grille which is reported to be adopted from the current gen variant of Passat sedan. He front fascia is also getting a brand new front bumper along with a set of rectangular fog lights. The manufacturer is also offering a lot of chrome with the new edition of the Vento sedan in the Indian market when compared with the previous edition of the sedan. The rear fascia gets a boot release button for opening the rear door which is absent in the previous edition.
Volkswagen is offering the upcoming edition of the Vento sedan in both petrol and diesel variants basically and the engine options are going to be the same as in the previous edition. Petrol version of the sedan is likely to get fitted with the same 1.2 litre turbo charged petrol engine that is capable of churning out around 104.6 PS power at the peak whereas a higher end variants is also going to be offered which comes powered with a 1.6 litre engine that churns out around 105.4 PS at the peak. Diesel version of the model is likely to get powered with a 1.5 litre TDI engine that generates around 104.6 PS power at the peak when mated with a five speed manual transmission gear box.
