Paul Singh Named for World Agriculture Prize Laureate
03.07.2015: Indian – American professor Paul Singh is named by Global Confederation for Higher Education Association for agriculture and Life Sciences for World Agriculture Prize 2015. This was announced in a GCHERA conference held at Kaslik, Lebanon.
Fazle Hasan Abed Wins World Food Prize 2015
03.07.2015: Fazle Hasan Abed, from Bangladesh is the winner of World Food Prize this year. He founded Bangladesh Rural advancement Committee a Bangladesh based NGO which is largest in the world. Fazle Hasan also received Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2010 and Human development Award in 2004. The world food prize carries 250,000 dollars money.
K P P Nambiar, Founding Chairman of Keltron is No More
03.07.2015: K P P Nambiar, founding chairman of Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited passed away at the age of 86 years. He is a recipient of Padma Bhushan award. In his career he served Bharat Electronics, Texas instruments and Tata. He also worked as president of World Malayalee Council.
ePMS Launched in Punjab
03.07.2015: Chief minister of Punjab, Prakash Singh Baldal launched the electronic projects management system, ePMS in the state. The portal was launched in the Digital India week. Aimed at making the system more transparent and also to improve communication between state to center, government to industries and vice versa, this also is expected to boost the confidence of the investors.

03.07.2015: Union government of India launched a new mobile app on the occasion of Digital India Week to provide people with information of gram panchayats assets. The photographs of public assets in gram panchayat like hospitals and schools can be captured with this mobile app.

03.07.2015: Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis moved reached the second round at Wimbledon. They defeated Zarina Diyas and Zhend Salsai of Kazakhstan and China. They defeated their opponents by 6-2, 6-2 and ended the match in 68 minutes.
