Blackberry Z10 Pre Booking in India for Rs.45,000: Shipping in Early March
Mumbai: Indian Retailer Saholic has opened pre-orders for BlackBerry Z10. Saholic listed the BlackBerry Z10 for a price of Rs. 45,000. The retailer says those who place an order will receive the handset in 19 business days from the day of booking. They can receive the device in the first week of March, 2013.
There were expectations that BlackBerry Z10 will be launched in India on 24th February. The pre booking was also expected to being in a few weeks. The expectations have come true. India has a great fan base and the device is expected to sell better in India. Blackberry Z10 will be a better choke for those who want to upgrade from BB Curve of Bold models.
BlackBerry Z10 is a full touchscreen flagship smartphone. The device is being compared to other windows phones 8, iOS and Android based smartphones available in the markets. Z10 runs on BlackBerry 10 operating system. It offers multitasking on the device. The platform is cantered around touch gestures.
BlackBerry Z10 comes with 4.2 inch display. The display type is WXGA touchscreen and the display resolution is 1280 x 768 pixels. It has 365 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a dual core Snapdragon processor. it is provided with 2 GB of RAM. There is an 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080 p HD videos and the 2 megapixel shooter front facing camera for video chatting.
BlackBerry Z 10 comes with 16 GB of internal memory. it supports expandable memory up to 32 GB via microSD slot. It supports Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, microHDMI ports, touchscreen keyboard and Wi-Fi. There is an advanced touchscreen keyboard. it allows the users to access more than 17,000 applications on BlackBerry world including Skype, WhatAPP, Angry Birds, Amazon Kindle and SoundHound. It also has 4G LTE connectivity which can be said as the main selling point for the device.
Indian tech media world seems to have received invites from Blackberry for the launch of BlackBerry Z10 smartphone on 25th February. The invites were heat sensitive mug invites. The receiver of the invite has to pour hot coffee in the mug to see the message that read ‘Block your date on Monday February, 25th 2013. BlackBerry Z1 will be launched in India and it will go on sale later in February’.
