Kawasaki Ninja 300 priced Rs. 3.5 lakhs – Which will you choose among Ninja 300 and Duke 390?
New Delhi: Kawasaki which operates in India in collaboration with the country’s leading automotive giant Bajaj has surprised the Indian customers with an unexpected price hike.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been one of the most reputed variants of the manufacturer in the global market and the model has finally reached the Indian stores. Bajaj has officially unveiled the Ninja 300 in the Indian market and started the sale of the model since Bajaj is the sole distributor of the company in India.
The 250 CC variant of the Ninja has been unveiled in the month of August last year which went successful in the Indian market and thus Kawasaki has decided to try its luck with the brand new Ninja 300 CC that has got some unique functionality along with a more powerful engine comparatively. Ninja 300 comes with a 296 CC oil cooled parallel twin engine that is capable of generating 39 bhp of power along with 27 Nm of torque at the peak which is absolutely massive for a two wheeler. The engine is accompanied with a 6 speed gear box that will be connected through a slipper clutch.
Bajaj has announced the price of the brand new Kawasaki Ninja 300 as Rs. 3.5 lakhs in the Indian market which is considerably high. Most of the automotive experts from the country have expressed reluctance against the respective price of the Ninja 300. It has been informed that majority of the Indian buyers are likely to opt for the Duke 390 when compared with the brand new Ninja 300.
When compared briefly, we may feel like choosing the Duke 390 rather than the Ninja 300. Duke 390 is having similar dimensions as that of Kawasaki Ninja 300 but both the motor bikes have their unique design. Duke has a powerful engine and lighter body comparatively and thus Duke has an advantage. Duke’s accessories and spare parts are comparatively cheaper than that of Ninja and Duke is likely to be sold for price lower than Rs. 2.5 lakhs only.
We have to wait and find out how the reputation of Ninja overcomes the price crisis of the Indian market tackling with the emerging star ‘Duke’.
