Samsung 12.2 inch Tablet Expected at IFA 2013: Samsung 12.2” Tablet Images Leaked
It was first heard in July, 2013 that Samsung is coming up with a 12 inch tablet. Now the images of the 12.2 inch tablet with model number 0sm-P900 leaked online. The images show the device having square corner instead of the usual round corners.
Berlin: Rumors about new 12 inch tablet from Samsung are around since two months. The first image of the 12.2 inch tablet of Samsung surfaced online. This is a mid range tablet. Earlier images of the tablet show that the model number of the device is SM-P900. Such type of model number is given to tablets that do not have S-Pen support. Thus the coming up tablet could be Galaxy Tab.
According to the rumors, the 12.2 inch tablet from Samsung will come with a display resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. it is likely to be powered by Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor. The image shows the tablet in similar design to Note line of tablets. There seems to be a central physical button. Menu and back buttons are on the left and right sides of the device.
Samsung 12.2 inch tablet has square corners as against Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy S series of tablets that had round corners. It was expected that the handset will be announced in July, 2013, as said by @evleaks.
No other details about the technical specifications of the handset are available for now. Some more information is expected to come at IFA 2013 event. This is because the latest images leaked online of Samsung 12.2 show that the device in fully assembled and is ready for release. Thus we can expect this tablet along with Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear to be unveiled at IFA event.
Meanwhile the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Gear are also leaked once against. The watch is expected to sport 2 inch OLED display. There are also reports that it will come with 3 inch display. The device will be powered by 1.5 GHz dual core processor. It will have a 4 megapixel camera with video recording feature. It will support Bluetooth connectivity. The processor of the device will be backed by 1 GB of RAM. Smart Gear will be revealed on September 4 and a demo of the device is expected at IFA Berlin.
