Xolo Q3000 has just got itself a price tag of Rs 20,999 and the Micromax Canvas turbo has had its price dropped to Rs 17,000. Both the devices have similar hearts but different screen sizes. It will be a close call between the two. Let us find out.

Xolo and Micromax are two very competitive and popular mobile phone manufacturing companies in the Indian market. Both are known for their quality handsets with latest technology. This year has witnessed many new additions to the portfolio of both Xolo as well as Micromax. Let us have a comparative look at their two very popular smartphone, Xolo Q3000 and Micromax Canvas Turbo:

Display: The Xolo Q3000 comes with a full HD IPS capacitive touch display of 5.7 inches that provide a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. On the other hand, Canvas Turbo carries a full HD LCD Sharp IPS CGS touch display of 5 inches that offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Processor: Both the smartphones have been loaded with a MediaTek quad core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

Operating System: Both the devices function on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform.

Camera: Both the handsets have been equipped with a primary camera of 13 mega pixels and a 5 mega pixels front facing camera.

Memory: Both the devices feature a RAM space of 2 GB and internal storage space of 16 GB. Unlike Canvas Turbo, Xolo Q3000 also provides an expandable memory of up to 32 GB by using a micro SD card.

Connectivity Features: Xolo Q3000 as well as Canvas turbo offer connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, micro USB, 2G EDGE and 3G.

Other Features: Xolo Q3000 is a dual SIM handset. It comes with a gyroscope, magnetic sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor and an accelerometer.

Battery: The Xolo Q3000 works on a 4000 mAh battery while Canvas Turbo works on 2000 mAh battery.

Our Take: After considering the two devices, my verdict is in favor of Xolo Q3000. Though most of their specifications and features were similar, Xolo Q3000 provides you with a bigger display, more memory storage as well as a better battery. Xolo devices have made a niche for themselves in the recent times and flagship will surely help the company strengthen its grip over the market.
