A big surprise for Chrysler lovers, Specifications and pictures of the upcoming Chrysler 200 coupe have been revealed over web unofficially prior to its official debut in a few days. The 2014 Detroit Motor Show is going to be started in the next week and Chrysler 200 is expected to become one of the show stealing models this year. But unfortunately, a complete set of images and full specifications of the vehicle have been leaked.

Test mules of the upcoming Chrysler 200 coupe were already spotted in the past while they were being tested but no clear picture of the model was revealed so far. To the surprise of all, the four door coupe has been revealed few days earlier to the official schedule. The styling and exterior finishing of the vehicle is almost the same as expected by observing the spy snaps of test mules revealed earlier. The manufacturer has applied a brand new styling strategy for the new 200 coupe and the chrome finishing emphasizes the elegance of the model.

Shape of head lights is artistic and the full alloy wheels increases the elegance of the vehicle further. As per the information, the instrument panel of the model would consist of a smaller touch screen display along with LED accent lighting. Chrysler is likely to offer the brand new Chrysler 200 coupe with the all wheel drive system which has never been offered before. The manufacturer is going to offer the coupe in two distinct variants which will deliver different performance specs and fuel efficiency.

The base variant is likely to get powered with a 2.4 litre 4 cylinder tiger shark engine that is capable of producing 184 hp of power at the peak along with 173 lb – ft of torque. The other variant would get fitted with a 3.6 litre Penta Star V6 engine that will generate around 295 hp of power at the peak along with 262 lb – ft of torque very comfortably. Both the variants would be offered with a 9 speed automatic transmission gear box as standard. The base variant featuring 2.4 L engine is capable of delivering around 15 kmpl mileage on a whole. However, we would get all the details officially confirmed on 13th of this month at Detroit Motor Show 2014.
