Mumbai: Intex launched a new smartphone with octa core processor MediaTek Mt6592 yesterday and the other smartphone that comes with similar processor is the Gionee Elife E7 Mini. Both the handsets come with a price under Rs. 20,000. Let us now compare the specifications and features of both these handsets.

Display: Gionee Elife E7 Mini comes with a display of 4.7 inches. Intex aqua core sports 6 inch display. The display resolution of the handsets however is same which is 1280 x 720 pixels. This makes the display of Elife E7 have better pixel density.

Processor: Processor in both the handsets is 1.7 GHz octa core battery. Intex Aqua Octa is the first domestic brand smartphone that comes with octa core processor. The processor of Elife E7 is powered by 1 GB RAM and Aqua Octa has 2 GB RAM.

Operating system and Internal Storage: Both Aqua Octa and Elife E7 come loaded with Android v4.2 operating system. Both are provided with 16 GB internal storage. There is an advantage with Aqua Octa which is expansion of memory is possible in this handset while Elife E7 does not offer this facility.

Battery: Battery is one of the important things to be considered while buying smartphones. E7 mini comes with a not so powerful 2100 mAh battery. Aqua Octa also does not have an impressive battery although the display is much bigger than Elife E7. It comes packed with 2300 mAh battery.

Camera: Elife E7 is provided with swivel type 13 megapixel camera that can be used as primary as well as secondary camera. Aqua Octa also has a 13 megapixel primary camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera.

Price: Gionee Elife E7 Mini is launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 18,999. Intex Aqua Octa is available for Rs. 19,999.

It can be said that those who love photography should go with Gionee E7 Mini as it offers good quality images with its Swivel 13 megapixel camera. 2 GB RAM and memory expansion features also make Aqua Octa a good option.
