JEE Advanced 2014 Exam Date Announced: Exam will be held on 25th May 2014
Indian Institute of Technology had announced the date of JEE Advanced 2014. JEE Advanced Examination will be held on 25th May 2014. Results will be declared on 19th June 2014.
Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology had announced the date of JEE Advanced 2014. JEE Advanced Examination will be held on 25th May 2014 by IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, and IIT Bombay. This examination consists of two papers. Paper I will be held on 25th May 2014 between 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM and Paper II will be held on 25th May 2014 between 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. Decision regarding the date was decided by the institution. This date will not be changed even if this date would declare as a holiday.
As per the notification released by the institute, only top 1, 50,000 candidates who appeared in JEE Main 2014 will be eligible to write JEE Advanced 2014 examination. This examination can write by the students for two times in consecutive years. Examination results of JEE Main 2014 will be declared on 3rd May 2014. Based on the scores in Paper 1 of JEE Main 2014, top 1,50,000 candidates will be declared as qualified candidates for JEE Advanced examination.
Eligible candidates have to register for the examination through online at the website http://jeeadv.iitkgp.ac.in. Only 6 days time will be given to the students to register for the examination i.e. from 4th May 2014 to 9th May 2014 between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM. Fee for this examination is Rs.2000 for General category students, Rs.1000 for SC, ST, PWD Male candidates. Women candidates of all the categories need not pay any fee towards this examination.
Admit cards for this examination will be issued between 11th May 2014 to 24th May 2014. Candidates find any discrepancies in the admit card then they need to inform the same to the Chairman JEE Advanced of the zonal II immediately before 22nd May 2014. Results for this examination will be held on 19th June 2014. After the declaration of the results, candidates will get to know their All India Ranks (AIR) through JEE Advanced website.
