Trio Fight: Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 vs Sony Xperia ZL vs HTC Desire 700, Who’s the Winner?

The dual Sim HTC Desire 700 seems to get a tough competition from the latter Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and Sony Xperia ZL. It will be interesting to see if it hold up well against the popular smartphones by competitor.

New Delhi: Today we are going to compare three of the branded smartphone which are competing each other in Market. Lets have a deep look into them:

Design: Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a dimension of 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9mm and weighs 163g, Sony Xperia ZL comes with a dimension of 131.7 x 69.8 x 9.8mm and weighs 151g and finally HTC Desire 700 comes with a dimension of 145.5 x 72 x 10.3mm and weighs 149g. Sony and HTC set themselves well with their build qualities but also Samsung’s sleekness keeps it in the race. Overall the trio shares equal points.

Display: Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 sports a huge 5.2-inch display with resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels HD and 280ppi pix density. Secondly, Sony Xperia ZL has a full HD 5 inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels and 443ppi PD. Finally the Desire 700 is equipped with a 5-inch screen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution and 220ppi PD.

OS: Among the three Galaxy Grand 2 has the latest 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and clearly a winner when compared to Xperia’s 4.2 and Desire’s 4.1. HOwever Xperia ZL on verge of update.

Processor: Xperia ZL leads the race with its outstanding 1.5 GHz Quadcore Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB RAM. The galaxy Grand 2 and Desite 700 are powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core with 1.5 GB and 1 GB respectively which are a decent specification but fall short of Xperia ZL.

Camera: There is a 8 MP rear camera in Galaxy Grand 2 and the Desire 700 with almost similar secondary camera of 1.9 and 2.1 MP respectively but the Xperia ZL’s 13MP rear and 2 MP front takes the smartphone at top in the list with features like Tracking focus, burst mode etc.

Storage: Both of the smartphones, the Galaxy Grand 2 and the Desire 700 comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can be externally expandable by 64 GB while the Xperia ZL has 16 GB external with 32 Expandable. Grand 2 and Desire 700 wins the race with higher total memory.

Verdict: Sony Xperia ZL is the star phone of the show when comparing with Grand 2 and Desire 700. Grand 2 is a good option if you are a Samsung fan and love the curvy style. HTC’s devices also has plenty to offer as it carries a host of new age functionality. Final decision is yours.
