AP Forest Department Recruitment Written Exam 2014 Schedule Announced: Forest Beat Officers Written Exam Postponed
AP Forest department is recruiting 2.167 staff for various posts such as forest section officer, assistant beat officer, bungalow watcher, thanadar and technical assistants. Schedule of written exam was announced and these will begin from April 6.
Vijayawada: Recently recruitment of 2,167 posts was announced by AP forests department. Principal Chief Conservator (forests) informed that the written exams for the announced posts – Forest section officer and assistant beat officers will begin from April 6, 2014. Forest beat officers written exam will be held on April 6 and Forest section officer exam will be held on April 12. Assistant beat officers written exam is on 13th, Bungalow Watcher exam is on April 20. It is also informed that April 27 is the day on which written exam for Thanadar posts will be held. Technical assistant exam will be held on May 4th this year.
AP Forest recruitment 2014 Forest section officer/forest beat officer/assistant beat officer/bungalow watcher and Thanadar written exam timings are as follows –
- Paper-. (General Knowledge) – 9.30 am to 11.00 am
- Paper-3 – 11.00 am to 12.30 pm
- Paper – 1 – (Essay) – 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm
Technical assistants written exam timings
- Paper – 1 (General Knowledge) 9.30 am to 11.00 am
- Paper 3 – 11.00 am to 12.300 noon
- Paper 1 (Essay) – 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm
Nearly 2,52,173 applications were received for the posts till March 6th, it is informed. Last date for submitting the applications is March 10 and the number of applications is likely to be increased by then.
Forest department recruitment notification was released in February for which the desirous candidates have to apply online. Certificates of qualified candidates will be verified and will be shortlisted for walking test and medical examination. Walking test is taken in which male candidates will have to walk for 25 kilometers in 4 hours and women candidates have to walk 16 km in 4 hours. Candidates will be chosen based on the performance in the walking test and also the marks they secure in the written examination. Reservation is applicable as per the rules of the government.
Update: Forest beat officers written exam scheduled for April 6 is likely to be postponed due to municipal elections. Written exam for other posts will be held as scheduled.
