AP Forest Recruitment Test 2014: Last Date for Submission of Applications Extended to March 15

Date for submission of applications for forest department recruitment test 2014 is extended till March 15. This was informed by the officials yesterday and it is also made clear that this extension is applicable only for the candidates who paid their exam fee before March 10. Due to server problems, many candidates could not upload their applications.

Hyderabad: Last date for submission of applications for AP forest recruitment test 2014 is extended to March 15. Yesterday was the last date to submit the applications but due to problem in server many candidates could not upload their applications though they have paid the application fee. Keeping this in view the last date to upload application is extended up to fifteenth of this month.

However this extension is applicable to only those candidates who paid their fee before March 10. Nearly 3.10 lakh applications were received for 2,167 posts till yesterday. Since the date is now extended to March 15, more number of applications is likely to be received.

Notification was released by Andhra Pradesh forest department for recruitment of forest section officer, bet officer; assistant beat officer, Thanadar, bungalow watchers and technical assistants. Number of forest section officer vacancies are 151 for which 26,916 applications are received. Beat officer posts are 751 and the applications received are 1,25,077. Nearly 1,50,838 applications are received for 1,224 assistant beat officer vacancies. Thanadar, bunglow watcher and technical assistant posts are 16,11 and 14 for which 2,378; 2,717 and 1,822 applications are received till now. Total number of posts is 2,167.

Scale of pay for Forest section officers is Rs. 10,020 – 29,200; for forest beat officer, the scale of pay is Rs. 7,960 – 23,650. Scale of pay for assistant beat officers is Rs. 7520-22430, for thanadars it is Rs. 7100 – 21,250, for bunglow watchers it is Rs. 6700 – 20,110 and for technical assistants, the scale of pay is Rs. 9460 – 27,700.

With the announcement of elections, the schedule dates of forest recruitment test 2014 are changed. The new dates will be announced soon.
