RuPay Debit Cards launched by Karnataka Vikas Grameen Bank

22.03.2014: RuPay Debit Cards launched by Karnataka Vikas Grameen Bank (KVGB). This bank is Dharwad based regional rural bank. Syndicate Bank is giving support to this bank. KVGB Chairman Ashok Reddy stated that bank is trying to make revolution by offering technology enabled services to customers in the remote villages.

Jammu & Kashmir Bank Paid Rs.593 crores towards Advanced Tax

22.03.2014: For the last quarter of current financial year 2013-14, Jammu & Kashmir Bank Paid Rs.593 crores towards Advanced Tax. This amount is 18.36 % higher than tax paid in the last financial year.

World Water day Observed

22.0.2014: On 22nd March 2014, World Water Day observed across the world. This day celebrates along with UN water decade programme on Advocacy and communications which is the Journalist workshop organised in Tokyo. It is observed to preserve and ration consumption of water. Main theme of this day is to raise awareness of the inter linkages between water and energy.

FACT Engineering enter into Agreement with NIT

22.03.2014: FACT Engineering and Design Organisation enter into Agreement with NIT (National Institute of Technology). Aim is to provide engineering and Project management consultancy services. Agreement was signed by V Ramachandran Director NIT Nagaland and JP Pradeep General Manager FEDO.

First Airbus A320 of Air Asia India’s Landed at Chennai

22.03.2014: First Airbus A320 of Air Asia India’s landed at Chennai. It was landed at 9.11 AM. This aircraft flying from France via Turkey and at last landed in Chennai. Air Asia tied up with Telstra Trade place of Arun Bhatia and Tata Group to launch Air Asia India. This tie up will provide low cost passenger airline services in India. Air Asia had got approval to import 10 Airbus A 320 aircrafts.
