Nokia Asha 230 is Priced Rs. 3,449 for Indian Markets

Nokia Asha 230 is now available on Nokia Store in India. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 3,449. Nokia Asha 230 was unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2014. Only the dual SIM variant is now launched in India though it is offered in single SIM version also. It supports WiFi connectivity also.

Visakhapatnam: A couple of days ago Nokia listed Nokia 220 budget phone on its website and another handset is now available in India for Rs. 3,449 and this is dubbed as Asha 230. It can now be purchased from the Nokia Store.

Like Nokia 220, Asha 230 is also available in both single and dual SIM variants and only the dual SIM variant is launched in India. This is the most affordable handset in Asha series of Nokia. Asha 230 was also listed on line on the official website in February itself but there were no pricing details available at that time. This handset was first announced globally at Mobile World Congress 2014.

Nokia Asha 230 comes with 2.8 inch display and the display resolution is 240 x 320 pixels and it comes loaded with Asha software platform. It is provided with 32 GB micro SD card and comes equipped with 1.3 megapixel primary camera. Connectivity features of the handset include GPRS, micro USB and Bluetooth. It supports dual SIM and come packed with 1020 mAh battery and according to Nokia, it will give a talk time of 12 hours and standby of 21 days. The handset will be offered in yellow, white, cyan, black, bright green and bright red colors.
