Nokia 225 Single and Dual Variants Coming in Second Quarter of 2014

Two new features phones in the budget category are launched by Nokia. The two new handsets are dubbed as Nokia 225 and Nokia 225 Dual and will be coming for a price which is equal to Rs. 3,200 in India currency or EUR 39. The handsets are supposed to hit the markets in only few markets selected by the company in the second quarter of 2014.

Chennai: Nokia 225 is claimed to be the slimmest internet phone than any other this kind of phone available in the market. Both the handsets share similar specification with major difference being the support to dual SIM as is indicted by the name of Nokia 225 Dual. The dual SIM handset was listed by Nokia’s official website a few ago but there were no details of pricing or availability.

Nokia 225 comes with 2.8 inch display and the type of display is LCD Transmissive. Display resolution is 240 x 320 pixels. pixel density is 142 ppi. It will support Bluetooth, micro USB, GPRS connectivity features. The handset will come with 2 megapixel primary camera. The handset on which it runs is Nokia operating system series 30+. The handset weighs only 100.6 grams. It features 1200 mAh battery that gives 21 hours talk time and 648 hours standby.

Other features of Nokia 225 are calculator. Calendar, alarm clock, phonebook, flashlight, clock, calculator. Recorder and digital clock. It supports Nokia Xpress Browser. This browser allows browsing and accessing the net even when the speed is very less. It comes preloaded with games such as Asphalt 6, The Avengers, Assassins Creed 3, Real Football 2012 and Block Breaker 3. Twitter and Facebook can also be accessed directly. The handset will be offered in white, black, yellow, red and green colors.
